About this tool

Drop an AGS file to instantly visualise water strikes across all boreholes. The tool reads WSTD (water strike details during drilling) and WSTG (sealed/rest water levels) groups and plots them as a horizontal bar chart by location and depth.

Both initial strikes and sealed levels are shown side by side for each borehole, making it easy to see the water regime across a site at a glance. A detailed data table shows all records including dates and remarks.

Useful for groundwater regime assessment, dewatering planning, and report figures. Same drag-and-drop AGS pattern as the AGS Summary and AGS Reducer tools.

How to use this tool

1. Drop an AGS file — the tool reads WSTD and WSTG groups automatically.

2. View the chart — water strikes plotted by depth for each borehole.

3. Review the data table — all strike records with dates, types, and remarks.

Technical information

Reads AGS groups WSTD (water strike details) and WSTG (sealed groundwater level). Key fields: LOCA_ID, WSTD_DPTH/WSTG_DPTH, WSTD_DATE/WSTG_DATE.

Supports AGS 4.0.3 through 4.1.1. No data leaves your device — all processing is done in the browser.

Limitations

Only reads WSTD and WSTG groups. Standpipe monitoring data (MOND group) is not included — use a dedicated monitoring tool for time-series water level analysis.

If multiple strikes are recorded at the same borehole, the chart shows the shallowest depth. The full data table shows all records.
