About Diggy
Free tools for site professionals
Diggy is a growing collection of browser-based tools built for geotechnical engineers, drillers and asbestos analysts. No downloads, no sign-ups, no data leaving your device.
Why we built this
The problem
The geotechnical and asbestos industries still rely on clunky spreadsheets, expensive legacy software and manual processes. Simple tasks take too long.
Our approach
Modern, fast tools that just work. Open your browser, do what you need to do, get on with your day. No friction, no learning curve.
Privacy first
Everything runs in your browser. Your AGS files, calculations and project data never leave your device. No uploads, no cloud storage.
Who this is for
Drillers
Field calculators for SPT corrections, casing volumes and quick conversions.
Site engineers
Validate AGS data, check test results and spot issues before they become problems.
Geotech engineers
Quick parameter correlations, soil mechanics calculations and data processing.
Asbestos analysts
Air monitoring calculators, enclosure setup tools and regulatory compliance checks.
Lab technicians
Sieve analysis, plasticity calculations and soil classification tools.
Built by Thomas at SoTech
Diggy is built by Thomas Hamson at SoTech. I co-built GIMLabs, a platform for borehole log data collection and management, and have spent years building data tools for ground investigation companies. I kept seeing the same problem: the everyday tools people rely on are outdated, expensive or just don't exist.
Diggy is my way of fixing that. Every tool here comes from real problems I've seen in the industry, and I'm adding more all the time. If there's something you need that isn't here yet, let me know.
